As you can see, from our platform, there are two ways to categorize the cookies on your site: classification by functionality and opt-in/opt-out classification. Typically, with our website scanning tool, many cookies will already be categorized. However, in case some are missing, we will show you how to do it from our platform. Please keep in mind that uncategorized cookies will not be blocked on your site, which is why proper cookie categorization is essential.
- Functionality-based Classification: To categorize cookies from our platform, you need to access:
Side menu > Cookie banner > Cookie categorization
Once you get to the cookie categorization section, you will see a dropdown with the different categories, select the correct one, and that's it!
- Opt-in/Opt-out Classification: If you need to classify cookies as opt-in/opt-out, the process is the same since this selection is located in the same section.
Side menu > Cookie banner > Cookie categorization
But in this case, you should select the dropdown on the right
And there you go! That's how easy it is to categorize the cookies on your site within our platform in just a couple of clicks!
