A cookie widget allows users to reopen the cookie banner if they need to change their settings or if they have closed it accidentally.
This can be especially useful if a user has declined certain cookies and later decides that they would like to enable them.
Overall, a cookie widget is a useful tool for websites that want to comply with privacy regulations, give users more control over their data, and improve the user experience.
Here we are going to show you how to hide the cookie widget from your site, but keep in mind that we recommend to add a link on your footer to open the banner, this will give you more control of their privacy choices to your visitors. You can see how to do this on our article Adding a "My Privacy Choices" Button to Programmatically Open the Cookie Banner
Let's do it!
If you decide to hide the widget you can go to:
Side menu > Cookie Banner > Position and Format. and scroll down to the Widget section
Once there, jus select the option with no widget and that's all!
