How does illow store and handle data?

Where and how is data stored?

Our servers and database are hosted in AWS in Frankfurt, Germany. Data is received through HTTPS requests sent to our API and stored in the database.

HTTPS requests from the internet are handled by our load balancer, which sends them to our API servers accordingly. API servers only allow HTTPS access from the load balancer. No SSH access is allowed.

The database is only accesible from the API servers and AWS console.

Data that we gather about our customers

  • Site URL
  • Account Owner’s name and email
  • Company Contact Email
  • If privacy policy is created in the platform:
  • Company Name
  • Mobile App Name
  • Country
  • Company Legal Name
  • Company Legal Address
  • Company Contact Phone
  • Contact Information (name, email and phone) about DPO (if any)

Payment information is not stored within our servers. We use Stripe to handle payments and we can only see part of the information:

  • Credit card holder’s name (if not corporate)
  • Last four numbers of credit card
  • Credit card expiry date
  • Credit card type (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc)
  • Credit card issuer
